The extraordinary story of Aaron Weiss, a Holocaust survivor was turned into a video installation. When viewed in its original form, the video is displayed inside a dark room that is turned into a Ukrainian basement of the 1940s. Viewers are invited to step into that environment and try to experience what it felt for a family of five to spend 22 months hidden behind a double wall.
The installation was screened at art exhibits and film festivals in Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia and Lviv, Ukraine.
